If you remember the days of Midwest DnB (now this site), you'll probably remember when DnBscene.com was up there with Dogs On Acid in terms of active members. Dnbscene.com went down for a few years and is now up and running again thanks to Marc Crouch. They've done some serious upgrades to the site - so check it out

Blueprint's Oberon featured Music on KitSounds KSDJ Headphones Advertisement
Posted by: Source Code in News on 1.01.2011
Blueprint's Oberon (available for free hi-quality download on this site) was featured as the background music for the KitSound KSDJ DJ Headphones advertisement.
Serious about sound? Check this out...
Representin' the KitSound DJ headphones.
Packing a punch that would make a heavyweight champion proud, these sick cans are rocking 50mm drivers that will bombard your ears with some serious shock and awe. Use them for Dj'ing or simply rock them on the street. The big (6.3mm) jack unscrews to give you a little (3.5mm) one that fits straight into your common garden digital media device (or your ipod/iphone).
A carefully boosted bass response allows the beat of the track you are cuing to slice straight through background noise so you can make sure you don't have any galloping horses going on before you drop it in. In normal listening they deliver a beautifully fat sound that will have you grinning like the Cheshire cat from Alice in Wonderland.
They feel mad chunky and proper robust in your hands. But don't let their tough exterior fool you; when you put them on, the yielding inners of the ear cups and soft headband ensure ultimate comfort, meaning you can spend all day perfecting your set and all night giving it to the masses without getting a sore face. Party on!

SGNL / SEIBEL - The Grey Sesssions Vol 5 (UOOGREY005) UnitOvOne Recordings
Posted by: blueprint in News on 1.12.2011
SGNL / SEIBEL - The Grey Sesssions Vol 5 (UOOGREY005) UnitOvOne Recordings
UnitOvOne Recordings starts off 2011 with it’s fifth installment of The Grey Sessions, bringing more great drum & bass styles to your audible pleasure zone. The Grey Sessions – 005 includes yet another great dance floor track by none other than Bryan Johns a.k.a. SGNL with his song, “Polaris”. With melodic guitar, soulful female vocals, deep bass, moving drums and lush synth work, Polaris adds to yet another great release under SGNL’s heavyweight champion belt. Grey 005 also brings new artist Seibel from the land of Germany to the public eye with a masterpiece entitled “Cologne” that submerges the listener with a distinct style comparable to none. Subtle glitches, evolving soundscapes, energetic minimalist drum work, and moving melodies all combine into what can not be argued as a prophetic classic. Mastered by Intellectual Mastering for audio purity and maximum sound design.
